Your rights to be heard – introductory guides for children and young people in England

We have written four guides for children and young people living in England to help them understand their rights to be heard in different situations – at school; if they are in contact with health services; if they are in contact with children’s services; and if they are in contact with the police and criminal courts

Top Tips for Participation



This poster was prodcued with disabled children from Generate UK and 1 Voice who teamed up with the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) and Participation Works to produce a poster as part of the ‘Making Ourselves Heard’ project.

Human Rights are Your Rights



Participation Works have produced a Human Rights are Children’s Rights guide and some supporting materials. The guide has been written to make sure that people who work with children and young people are familiar with human rights legislation.

The guide will be available in late August 2008 and you can register here to recieve a hard copy.
