What resources can Participation Works offer?

Answer: Participation Works offers detailed pages on a number of different topics relating to children and young peoples participation as well as a number of downloadable resources such as How to Guides, Taking Part in Making Decisions; Training for 8-12 year olds, Your rights to be heard guides, Case Studies and Publications including Listen and Change.

How do I purchase resources from Participation Works?

Answer: If you want to purchase any of our resources with a credit of debit card you can do so by clicking the "Buy Now" button at the bottom of every resource page. Minimum order for using credit or debit cards is £10. To purchase resources with a personal cheque or via an invoice please download our order form and return to us at enquiries@participationworks.org.uk. Minimum order for cheque or invoice is £28.

What training can Participation Works offer adults working with children and young people?

Answer: Participation Works offer a number of training packages, details of which are on our events and training listing page.

Training courses for adults who work with children and young people include; Building a Culture of Participation, Hear by Right, Ready Steady Change and Safeguarding in Youth Participation.

We also offer new courses based on our famous how to guides including How To Involve Children and Young People in Commissioning, How To Use Creative Methods For Participation, How To Work Successfully With Children and Young People From Various Faiths and Cultures and How To Involve ‘Hard To Reach’ Children and Young People.

What training can Participation Works offer for young people?

Answer: Participation Works also offer training courses for young people including Do you Speak Trustee?, Saying Power and Youth at the Table.

I tried to sign up to the PWNE but I was not able to complete my registration. What should I do?

Answer: You may have been locked out from the members area after a certain time without any activity. If you are a new user and haven't yet set up your password it won't be possible for you to gain access so contact us and we will assist you.

Once we have unlocked your account you can reset your password and complete your registration. Follow the link to this PDF guide which explains how to do this.

Can I advertise on the Participation Works online gateway?

Answer: We can promote jobs and events for you through our jobs and events and training pages. If your event or training course is free to attend then we can advertise it free of charge for you. If you want to advertise a job or an event where attendees must pay to attend there is a small charge which relates to your organisational turnover.
